You got your BarDiver.com in my Lijit
Now that the fog of the New Years celebrations has lifted, it is time to focus on the upcoming year and all the new things it has in store for BarDiver.com.
We have a list of great new things to add to the site this year and the first one is Lijit integration. Lijit is a Colorado based service that allows you to aggregate all of your online identities together and makes that information searchable. They call it "Personal Network Search" but that is just a fancy geek term for "wicked awesome". If my description of Lijit didn't make all that much sense you can learn more about Lijit here. So what does this Lijit thing have to do with BarDiver.com? Good question, you are obviously a very astute reader. Every BarDiver.com user has their own profile page. This page now serves up a Lijit enabled RSS feed. The URL for that feed is http://bardiver.com/feeds/visitedBars/YOUR_USER_NAME_HERE/ That feed tells Lijit about the bars you have visited and your rating of that bar. That makes these bars searchable in your "Personal Network Search". It's just that simple :) We would like to thank you all for using BarDiver.com.
