I love going here to see live music. It has sucha great small stage that is a refreshing change from places like the Blue Bird or the Ogden. But the bands that play at the Larimer Lounge I would expect to see at the larger venues. Koufax, The Burning Brides, The Billy Nayer Show, The Thunderbirds are Now, XIU XIU are just some of the great acts that regularly come to the Larimer Lounge. The outdoor patio is great too. It really feels like you are over at a friends house having burgers and beers.

The venue itself is crap but whoever books this place really knows what they are doing. The talent is what sets Larimer Lounge apart. That and the patio. Otherwise its just a shi*ty hole in the wall with a worthless PA.

Great small space to see bands. Plus they have great bands come through. Anytime you get to see Jeremy Enick singing 2 feet from you it's a good night.
